Numerous disc-based recording formats are supported, including DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW. On the front of the unit, users will find a DV input compatible with video camcorders. With this, home videos can be transferred to DVD for archival purposes. Both HDMI and Component video is supported for high definition output, but S-Video and standard A/V are supported for legacy connections. An HDMI cable is included in the box.
