The Toshiba D-VR610 is a DVD recorder / VCR combo offered by Toshiba that features 1080p upconversion. This device can easily convert VHS tapes to DVD, and visa-versa, in one small convenient box. DVD content can be up-converted to near HD picture quality through the HDMI output.

It supports a wide array of disc types, including DVD-Video, CD-DA, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD+R, VCD and SVCD, and is DivX home theatre certified. It is capable of playing MP3 and WMA files, and is able to record 2 channel Dolby Digital audio. The built in 4-head hi-fi VCR can record at SP and SLP. There are several ins/outs including component, s-video, RCA, coaxial and HDMI. Other notable features include V-Chip recording, camcorder controls and timer recording.
