The TiVo TCD648250B is the first Series3 HD DVR released by TiVo and first THX-certified DVR making it an ideal system to record HD material with top-quality audio and video. This set is capable of recording HD television from cable providers or using over-the-air digital HD (ATSC).

As you would expect, there is an HDMI video output and SP/DIF audio output for all digital lossless connections. There are also several other output connectors if required. The front panel has a high-quality OLED (organic light-emitting diode) to display what is being recorded, even when your TV is off. The included remote is backlit for easy use in the dark, and is a learning remote capable to easily configure to your TV. As well as recording programs, you can pause and rewind live TV on the fly in case you miss a crucial moment and a dual tuner lets you record two shows while watching a third. Other TiVo features include "Season Pass" to record every episode in a seriesand "WishList" which records shows based on your favorite actor, director or topic.
