Integrating directly into the user's home entertainment setup, the Elite replaces existing cable boxes and accesses local internet via ethernet connectivity. From the unit's main graphic interface, users can browse and stream a wide variety of web content from services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Blockbuster, YouTube, Picasa, Photobucket, Pandora, Rhapsody and more. Recordings can be transferred directly to to web servers, laptops, smartphones and tablet devices, or even burned to a DVD for physical archiving. A free application for Apple iDevices is included that enables users to configure recording schedules, control live or recorded programs, and browse available content. Tivo's Glo remote is also included for full device configuration, providing numerous options to best suit a given user's needs. Additionally, users can upgrade their hardware to support the full Premiere Elite service, providing unrestricted content access, 4-way simultaneous recording and bonus services like WishList and Season Pass.
