Sony SVR-3000

The Sony SVR-3000 is the second (and final) TiVo DVR to be released by Sony. This model has either one 80 GB or two 15 GB internal drives for up to 87 hours of recording time, and also gives you the ability to pause and rewind live TV.

Some features include high-speed picture search, frame-by-frame advance in forward and reverse and a status bar to display the location in a recorded program. It is compatible with standard-definition terrestrial broadcasts as well as with digital satellite systems (with satellite receiver) and cable programming services. This model is used with the TiVo system which has useful features such as "Season Pass" to record every episode in a series, "WishList" which records shows based on your favorite actor, director or topic and "SmartRecording" which gives you show suggestions. The Sony SVR-2000 has networking features and comes with a Sony Silver TiVo remote control.
