ReplayTV RTV5060

The RTV5060 is a basic digital video recorder from ReplayTV, a follow-up to the 4040, to which it is very similar in features. The hard drive holds 60 hours of standard-definition programming (20 more than the 4040), which can be replayed in slow-motion, fast-forwarded, and watched without ads thanks to the ability to skip past commercials.

Like most modern DVRs, the 5060 can pause live TV. The 5060's networking ability surpasses that of the 4000 series, as the user can share content not only with other ReplayTV units on a home network, but with friends and family over the internet, as long as they also own a 5000-series DVR. Lower- and higher-capacity models are available. High definition support is not provided.
