The Marusys MS850S is one of two PVR-ready, DBV-S2 set-top boxes (MS630S, MS850S) released in mid 2010. Both units rely on a Magnum Semiconductor, single-chip DX6225 transducer engineered for multi-format transrating, transcoding from MPEG-2, H.264 to H.264 and, more importantly, on-the-fly streaming to the iPhone via an optional USB Wifi adapter.
