The Lorex DXR209161 is a digital video recorder intended mainly for home security use, as it has 9 different channels to connect to video cameras. It has integrated motion detection, network view and controls as well as password security.

It triggers and records alarms, and has a quick-search function that finds records based on date, time and whether or not an alarm was triggered. It has a 160GB hard drive with security lock. Its inputs include 9-channel composite video and 4 RCA audio inputs, and there are two RCA audio outputs. Other features include picture-in-picture and 2x video zoom. The recorder does not include any security cameras.
