Product Shot 1 The Pros:Moves VHS tapes onto DVD easily with just a few button presses. Upconverts DVDs to near HD quality without any interpolation problems. VHS to DVD conversion reliable, seems to improve the quality somewhat.

The Cons:Recording from TV is awkward and requires a manual setup. Remote control's "Eject" button doesn't always work, need to use the front panel. DVD drive is noisy when reading scratched disks.

It has VHS-to-DVD dubbing and has an 1080p upconversion through HDMI for both the VHS and the DVD content, meaning you can convert your non HDMI shows to a better quality.
